How FoneDaam Verifies Phone Prices and Specifications

FoneDaam publishes Bangladesh phone prices with checked dates and explicit price states, while showing identifiable sources for specifications. Price type, variant, freshness and uncertainty stay separate.

01

Price types

Official, unofficial, market range, launch, expected and unavailable are published as six distinct states with different meanings.

02

Evidence and confidence

A price may come from multiple market observations or direct owner input. Price sources stay private; high, medium or low confidence describes evidence strength.

03

Freshness

An observation is fresh through 14 days, aging from 15–45 days and stale after 45 days.

04

Specifications

Manufacturer facts are preferred where available. Regional, model and variant differences remain explicit; unknown values are not guessed.

05

Editorial judgment

Strengths, limitations and value judgments follow evidence and price context. Sponsorship cannot change rankings, comparisons or verdicts.

06

Corrections

Reports identify the phone, disputed information and, where possible, verifiable evidence. Accepted corrections record a new checked date.

Verification flow

How a phone-price record reaches FoneDaam

Before publication, a record must connect the right phone, market, variant, price state and reviewed evidence.

  1. 01

    Identify the exact phone

Match the model, Bangladesh market context and the relevant RAM and storage variant.

  2. 02

    Check appropriate sources

Use authoritative sources for canonical facts and relevant Bangladesh sources for market-price observations.

  3. 03

    Classify the price

Separate official, unofficial, market-range, launch, expected and unavailable states.

  4. 04

    Record the context

Record the applicable variant, Bangladesh market, private price evidence, checked date and confidence.

  5. 05

    Publish with context

Show the number with the information a buyer needs to interpret it.

  6. 06

    Review again when needed

Aging or stale observations and correction reports can signal that a record needs another check.

Reading the number

What each price state means

The label explains what kind of market evidence the number represents—and what it does not claim.

Official
Observed in an official or authorized market context. It does not claim that stock is currently available.
Unofficial
Observed in an unofficial or import-market context. It does not imply warranty coverage, seller endorsement or product endorsement.
Market range
An observed low-to-high range across relevant sources. It is not one guaranteed selling price.
Launch
Historical or announced pricing from launch. It is not automatically the current market price.
Expected
An estimate when a current price is uncertain or not established. It is never presented as confirmed pricing.
Unavailable
No usable current price is available. The record shows this state instead of zero or a fabricated estimate.

Evidence trail

Evidence, confidence and conflicting information

No single source type is equally suitable for every fact. Evidence must fit the information being published.

Use the source that fits the fact

  • Manufacturer documentation and official product information are preferred for canonical specifications.
  • Distributor and retailer sources can support official or unofficial Bangladesh market observations when relevant.
  • Publication and other sources are useful only when they are relevant and verifiable for the specific fact.

Price evidence remains private

Each price observation retains the Bangladesh market, price type, checked date, confidence and, where applicable, variant. Supporting source references may be kept privately in the editorial record, or the owner may enter a price directly; no price-source name, URL, ID, count or association is published.

Confidence is not freshness

High, medium and low confidence describe evidence strength and remaining uncertainty; they are not accuracy percentages. A price checked today can still have lower confidence when evidence is weak, sources conflict or the market is unclear. A somewhat older observation can have stronger underlying evidence.

Fresh
14 days old or less
Aging
15–45 days old
Stale
More than 45 days old

Fresh means the observation was checked recently; it does not automatically mean perfectly accurate. The checked date changes only when the observation is actually reviewed, never just to make a record look recent.

When sources disagree

First match the exact model and variant, then compare relevant evidence while keeping official, unofficial and other price states separate. Authoritative sources take priority for canonical specifications. Contradictory market observations can remain distinct, receive explanatory context or carry lower confidence. Uncertainty is not presented as certainty, and official and unofficial prices are not merged into a misleading average.

Publication boundaries

Specifications, judgment and sponsorship stay separate

Facts
Manufacturer information is preferred where available. Exact region, model, RAM and storage variants matter; unresolved conflicts remain uncertain or unpublished. Missing fields are not guessed merely to make a specification table look complete.
Price observations
A dated record from a market context; it is neither a canonical specification nor an editorial verdict.
Editorial interpretation
Strengths and limitations must follow evidence, and value judgments require price context. FoneDaam does not declare every device “best.”
Sponsor content
Sponsored material remains labeled. Sponsorship cannot buy phone order, comparison emphasis, editorial preference or verdicts.

Practical limits

What FoneDaam prices do not guarantee

FoneDaam is an information and research platform, not a shop. A published price is context to verify before buying, not a standing seller promise.

  • Current store inventory
  • The final checkout price
  • Seller-specific promotions
  • Warranty terms or device condition
  • One uniform nationwide price
  • Continued availability of a previously checked price

Prices can vary by variant, market channel, seller, region, promotion and time.
