OnePlus promises at least four generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates from launch. Those are separate commitments, and a later purchase does not restart the clock. Check the installed software and remaining support before comparing older stock with a more recent model. OxygenOS 14.1 based on Android 14 is the launch specification, not a claim about today's installed version.

Check your front-camera and transfer workflow

The rear pair comprises a 50MP main with OIS and PDAF and an 8MP ultrawide with a 112° field of view. Rear 4K at 30/60fps does not carry over to the 16MP front camera, whose published video mode is 1080p at 30fps.
