Practical guide
What a phone's battery capacity does—and does not—tell you
Use mAh as one useful input, then account for display, chipset, software, network and charging behavior.

Battery capacity in milliampere-hours helps compare stored charge, but it does not predict screen time by itself.
Why equal capacities can behave differently
Display brightness and refresh rate, chipset efficiency, signal quality, background activity and software tuning all affect runtime. Independent, methodologically clear battery testing is more informative than capacity alone.
Charging needs context too
A charging-watt figure is a peak claim, not a promise that the phone sustains that rate. Charger compatibility, heat management and the charging curve matter.
