Choose the framing and camera before the zoom number

The 50 MP S5KJN5 telephoto has 3.5× optical zoom, OIS and autofocus. OnePlus separately labels a 7× mode “optical quality” and up to 120× photo zoom digital. Those labels do not add a second 7× physical lens or prove fine detail at maximum zoom. Start with the framing you need, then use the camera guide to distinguish lens optics from cropping and digital processing.

The 50 MP IMX906 main and 50 MP OV50D ultrawide also list autofocus. The manufacturer's BD overview and technical table disagree on the ultrawide angle, so an exact angle is omitted here. If that framing matters to your work, request an exact-unit demonstration rather than treating either conflicting number as settled.

Separate front recording from the rear video list

The front IMX709 has 32 MP, autofocus and 4K at 30/60 fps. The rear video block lists 8K at 30 fps and 4K at 30/60/120 fps; it does not establish that every rear lens supports every listed mode. Choose the camera and frame rate you actually use before comparing headline recording ceilings.

The OnePlus 15R profile lists front 4K at 30 fps. That is a concrete distinction for someone who needs front 60 fps, rather than proof of better measured footage. Generic EIS/OIS wording in a video block is not evidence of physical OIS on the front module, and this page does not claim it.

Match memory and USB to your file workflow

The BD 12/256 GB configuration uses LPDDR5X Ultra; 16/512 GB uses Ultra+. Both list UFS 4.1 storage. Moving to 512 GB therefore also changes physical RAM, while software occupies some nominal file capacity. The RAM and storage guide explains why storage and app memory answer different needs; the memory labels alone do not provide our performance measurements.

USB Type-C here is paired with USB 3.2 Gen 1, unlike 15R's listed USB 2.0. Internal UFS storage does not replace the cable, host and transfer-protocol requirements. Check your actual transfer equipment instead of assuming every Type-C cable delivers the same workflow. The display separately lists adaptive 1–120 Hz and a gaming maximum of 165 Hz; that maximum is not a promise that every game renders 165 frames per second.

Keep capacity, charging and regional checks separate

The manufacturer describes a series dual-cell assembly: typical 3650 mAh at 27.6 Wh, expressed as 7300 mAh equivalent; rated 3575 mAh at 27.03 Wh, expressed as 7150 mAh equivalent. These are equivalent-capacity conventions, not two series currents simply added together. Use the battery guide to interpret capacity without converting it into guaranteed hours.

120W SUPERVOOC and 50W AIRVOOC need compatible equipment. A USB data cable is listed in the BD box contents, but a power adapter is not; that omission alone does not establish inclusion or exclusion. Use the charger guide to check the actual package and equipment cost. The profile lists eSIM alongside dual nano-SIM slots; operator acceptance and activation still need checking through the eSIM guide. Current exact payable amounts remain unverified.
