The Bangladesh table lists 4/128, 6/128 and 8/256 GB with LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage. Moving to 6/128 GB adds working memory without increasing nominal file space. The 8/256 GB option changes both. Neither change alone proves faster games or longer app retention.

“Up to 16 GB” is an expanded total based on the 8 GB physical version. Expansion occupies storage and requires free space; it is not a fourth 16 GB physical configuration. A separate card slot helps if you keep both phone lines

Xiaomi's manufacturer FAQ identifies two SIM positions and a separate microSD position. The Bangladesh table supports cards up to 1 TB, sold separately. You can plan supported media storage while retaining both SIMs, but a card does not add physical RAM or guarantee every app can move off internal storage.

Check the tray and your apps' storage support on the actual unit. The card's separate cost and a backup plan belong in the purchase decision. Connectivity is 4G; listed bands still depend on the regional unit and operator support. NFC is listed locally with a market-availability caveat, so verify it if payments or tags are essential.

Read the screen at the size you normally use

The 6.9-inch LCD has 1600 × 720 resolution and up to 120 Hz in supported apps. Touch sampling up to 240 Hz is another specification, not a display refresh rate or a 240 fps gaming promise. More screen area does not automatically improve fine text; inspect a document, keyboard and map at your normal settings using the display guide.

The stated body is 171.56 × 79.47 × 7.99 mm and 205 g in manufacturer laboratory figures. Compare grip with a case rather than deciding from the diagonal alone. The 50 MP rear main camera and 8 MP front camera each list 1080p recording at 30 fps. The auxiliary lens has no stated role or resolution in the selected table; use the camera guide for the samples and modes you need.

Charging and IP64 need their package and use conditions

The 6000 mAh typical capacity and 33 W charging specification are useful inputs, not measured runtime or full-charge time. Although the generic package list includes an adapter, Xiaomi separately asks buyers to confirm local box inclusion with the seller. Use the charger guide to check the actual adapter/cable combination and total cost.

IP64 is a controlled laboratory splash/dust rating, and protection can diminish with use. Xiaomi says not to immerse the phone or charge it in damp conditions; its warranty excludes damage caused by man-made immersion. Read the water-resistance guide before treating the rating as permission for pool, beach or underwater use.

What a change from Redmi 14C would mean

The covered Redmi 14C lists the same Helio G81-Ultra and LPDDR4X/eMMC 5.1 technologies. The 15C changes stated battery capacity from 5160 to 6000 mAh and charging from 18 to 33 W; its body is wider. Those differences warrant an equipment and handling comparison, not a claim that the chipset is a generation faster.

The 14C's Bangladesh reference has no NFC, while the 15C lists it with a market caveat. The 14C lists a 13 MP front camera rather than 8 MP, which alone does not rank image quality. Weigh these specific needs, your exact memory choice and written warranty using the value checklist. HyperOS 2 is listed for 15C; the selected table does not establish an Android base version or an update-support duration.
